Wait staff is great but the kitchen is hanging them out to dry. If there is more than ten people the kitchen hits grid lock. One and one half hour wait for burgers!!!. Ridiculous. Either the owner needs to sell this money maker or fix the kitchen issues. Food is great when you can get it. Or maybe he just doesn't care about local patrons.

Good food. Best sweet potato fries ever. Lovely view. Good service. A resort hidden away in middle America!! Try it out.

We have tried to give this place multiple chances (last year we waited 3 hours for our food) but tonight was the final straw. Advertised time with a sign on the door said the kitchen closes at 11pm on Saturday's. So we came a little before 10pm, ordered drinks and one of the waitresses gave us a menu but then a manager comes up and tells us the kitchen is closed. No apology, no explanation, we actual got an eye roll and a repeated "kitchens closed" then she walked away. Three other people were complaining about the same thing. One group said they came at 9:45 and were ignored until right at 10 then were told the kitchen was closed. Ridiculous. A waitress who was leaving work stopped on her way out and told us that she was really sorry and that we were right and the kitchen manager even said that he would probably get in trouble for closing the kitchen early. She was literally the only person that even seemed to care and she wasn't even working anymore. I voiced my complaints in a quiet way to one of the waitresses as we were finishing our drinks and was told by the manager that I had to leave because I was causing problems. If you want to close early all the time that's fine but at least take the sign on the door down that clearly serves no purpose since the kitchen and bar will close "whenever we feel like it" (actual words by the bartender). The building really is amazing but the attitude of the staff is going to ruin this place.

Interesting place, the food was okay, our waitstaff was attentive but the food took forever. We ordered chips and salsa - chips not warmed, cheese sauce and salsa okay. We waited a while to get. When our food finally arrived, the sweet potato fries on one of the plates were clearly overcooked. When finally got the waitress, decided to ask for a credit as the fries being redone would just take so long. Nice view nice place. It needs some organization so food can come out more timely. Lot of wait staff wandering around. An interesting side when we arrive a group of six left because there was not space - no tables for six. Yet as we were seated there were several empty tables -- guess they cannot slide two tables togetherness???

I went here with my boyfriend our 1st anniversary. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Nice view of Milford lake with sunset. Not too busy.
