Large lake that's not very crowded. Most camp sites have decent shade trees with electricity and water, no sewer in camp spot. Great for families. Limited beach area. Fairly clean shower houses that are free to use.
The campground is huge! I'm not sure how many hiking trails the have but there is definitely room to roam. Also the main boat ramp is nice and the only place on the lake I put in at.
Easy to follow trail system, plenty of area to park, camping, and fishing areas are available. Some trails border corn feilds, which can be a negative, but offer possibilities of animal viewing.
Camped for the night and it was great. Easy to find off the interstate, but the map of the park is a little overwhelming. I was able to navigate in the dark, but it was a challenge to figure out where the tent sites were located in the pitch black. Lots of RV's making noise early. And some were just parking in the dark which was a little disruptive.
We have camped at Cedar point a number of times, everything is always clean the facilities are neat and the host is very friendly
